Beads
Here we have a nice HOT PINK packet of beads, by accent. Visit www.bubblyfunk.co.uk to see the image in context.
I have a soft spot for beads. I'm not quite sure what it is about them, just the fact that they are so versatile. You can incorporate them into almost anything, including jewellery, clothing and assorted decorative items. For instance, in art I am making a jewellery box edged with beads. I love making them into jewellery, too. I always accessorise!
The first known examples of using beads for jewellery is a pair of 100000 years old and made out of Nassarius shells. They are also made out of plastic, glass, stone, bone, metal, pearls, coral and a range of other materials. See www.wikipedia.co.uk for more information on beads. Enjoy
